Innovative Company of the Year 2008

Awarded on 12th March 2008 the judges, chaired by Peter Jones from BBC’s Dragons' Den, commented specifically on last year’s re-alignment of our brand and the move towards us becoming ‘word of mouth specialists, championing and flying the flag for local recommended businesses’. They were particularly impressed with our initiatives like Reviews, Business Awards, and thebestof networking which are ‘engaging with local people’.

This award is a huge coup for everyone involved in the business, especially franchisees, and is a massive endorsement of our strategy by some of the top business people in Britain.

thebestof ranked No. 3 in the Top 100 in the list that was published in September 2007. This was a major national accolade for the company, of which we are very proud.

We were finalists again in this prestigious award that was presented in December 2007. We were mixing it with big names like  Specsavers, Nat West and Gu chocolate puds who all won Awards on the night.
